the fact that aleksa chose to spar with alex even though he's taller than him and (at least at the time) 10kg heavier than him and larger and more experienced than him in literally every single conceivable way drives me crazy like he could've just picked a different sparring partner he could've gone with someone more similar to him in terms of body type there's literally no way he didn't have any other options besides alex..... it's genuinely insane that not even getting his rib broken by alex during their First Ever sparring session made him stop and think "you know what maybe from now on i should train with someone who is slightly less likely to do further irrepairable damage to my body" no they just kept going until alex gave him a severe concussion rendered him unable to compete in the very match he was helping him spar for and literally put him at risk of permanent brain damage and STILL in spite of all of that aleksa to this day only ever jokes and talks abt the whole thing in such a perversely optimistically proud and horny manner like the whole "thanks for punching me in the head alex!!" and "yeah alex would just dominate me the entire time... he actually put me in the hospital! ☝️ which was nice 😁" and "[seeing a room with luxury boxing gear in a video] [to alex] ohhh man you could concuss me so good in here look at all that gear [stroking his moustache deviously]" thing..... i forgot where i was going with this but actually you know what on second thought it's actually very very obvious and clear to me why he didn't want to spar with anyone else but alex alright post canceled
